The Latvian National Ballet

Gonzalo Preciado-Azanza joined the  Latvian National Ballet in August 2015, making history by becoming the first Spanish dancer to join this prestigious institution and then, enter the select list of foreign dancers who have been part of the best companies of the Russian ballet school throughout its long and famous career.

In November 2015 he made his debut as a soloist in the company and since then he has danced the following roles:

Caliph of Baghdad, Scheherazade and her tales, Leo Mujic
Tyrolean, At the Blue Danube, Aivars Leimanis
The Gnome, Pictures at an Exhibition, Antons Freimans

In addition to his performances at the company’s headquarters in the Latvian National Opera & Ballet he has been involved several national and international tours:
